‘Whitespace’ to be Performed as Part of Concept Lab Series

I’ll play my piece Whitespace with cellist Talia Dicker on Sunday, July 14 at 5:30 as part of the Concept Lab series at the Rockwood Music Hall in lower Manhattan.

The piece is inspired by the idea of negative space in paintings,  you know, the empty space.  The piece uses silences and minimal gestures to create structure.
