‘Group Dance’ Performance on October 31

Lakeshore Rush will play my piece ‘Group Dance’ as part of New Music Chicago’s Thursday afternoon series at the Chicago Cultural Center.

Group Dance was inspired by a painting by the Zhou Brothers, pictured above.  I thought it was moody, primordial and perhaps a bit clumsy or awkward so I wrote a primordial dance piece in 5/8 time.
